LILJA / KUUSILMÄ

All beautiful things have a mournful aspect. The so-called devil is always present someway or another. Is the devil "evil" or not, depends from the eye of the beholder.

Lilja/Kuusilmä is a complex instrument to new dimensions of this and another realities. It can be a challenging journey, but it can also open new gates to your inner self. It needs listeners full attention, dedication and time to comprehend. It's not something that you can give an opinion after few listening or maybe ever. The best way to listen this output of soul is alone in the dark with headphones. Preferred listening experience can be compared to a meditation. Feelings are stronger when you are a part of them.



Lilja/Kuusilmä is an uncompromising and timeless vision with lots of contrasts. Textual, sonical and visual messages are ambiguous with hidden and dualistic meanings. Lyrics are very hard to translate. Lilja/Kuusilmä has the same innocence and sacredness of Virgin Mary, but contrary it also represents the night and eroticism of Lilith. It's a sacred poison, a mix of organic and synthetic chemicals. Wu Xing.

One could describe Lilja/Kuusilmä for instance like a combining H.R. Giger's art with Theodor Kittelsen's paintings. It has a gloomy urban atmosphere like on David Lynch's Eraserhead, but also similar ambience with Lars von Trier's Melancholia: the dreamlike beauty and primitive mysticism of the night and sorrow.

Lilja/Kuusilmä is naked incarnation of intuition. It's build by following instincts: hearing melodies and seeing things. Visions have flowed through naturally and effortlessly. All the artistic concepts have been ready and clearly foreseen, before recording any instrument, writing any lyrics or drawing any picture.

Lilja/Kuusilmä is an own entity. Individuals and the art needs to be separated. There's no names, gender, regions, political views, religions...etc. Truth is in the nature. There's no religion higher than truth.

Now there's nothing left in here. This abandon hospital doesn't deserve a new beginning. Mind escapes from here like a cristallic virgin snow that covers everything. The cold nectar of obscurity whispers your name. Build your own darkness and follow your soul. Smell the extatic parfume of the conifer trees carried by the indigo blue mist. In solitude, you enter the newborn autumnal night and wander all the way to the calmly floating river. You undress yourself and summon the full moon. Suddenly none passes you a sharp dagger. The blade starts to dance on your skin and writes a primitive love poem with crimsonic wine of evil one. Pure love in your unpulsating heart, you lay down to sleep. Inside this chamber, you are glad that this night belongs to Him.
